Everything about your account is under Account settings: your name and email, your password, your username, your language, your colour scheme, and whether your public page is listed in search engines.
Password and email
- Change your password from Account settings. You are signed out everywhere else, which is the point.
- Change your email and the new address becomes your sign-in. Reset links go there.
- Forgotten it? Use Reset your password and the link arrives by email. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder before asking for another.
Who can see what
- Your public page is public: it is the link you share.
- Your CV versions are private until you send someone a version link, which is a read-only page with no editor on it.
- Your applications, messages, score and plan are visible only to you and the site’s administrator.
- Employers see the profile and the CV attached to the application they received, and nothing else.
Deleting your account
Ask the site owner to delete your account. It removes your profile, your CV versions, your applications and your public page. Two things to know before you do: your public page stops existing, so any link you shared in a bio stops working — and any post you made on the Scroll board may remain, because other people’s comments and replies are attached to it. Take a copy of your CV as a PDF first, from any version, using export.
