Every CV version has a print view, and every CV can be downloaded as a PDF or an image. Nothing here is locked behind a bigger package — printing and exporting are in the free package too.

Printing

  1. Open the CV version and press Print.
  2. Choose Save as PDF as the destination if you want a file, or your printer if you want paper.
  3. Set margins to Default and switch off “Headers and footers” if your browser offers it. The site already removes the browser’s header space on the page, but some browsers still add the site address and a page number at the top of the paper.
  4. Check the preview. A CV that spills four lines onto page two should be tightened rather than left.

PDF export

The PDF button renders the same design and downloads the file. Use it when you are uploading to a job portal, because it keeps the layout exactly as you see it.

PNG export

The PNG button saves the CV as a picture. Use it for a chat message or a post — WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger — where a PDF is awkward to open on a phone. Do not send a PNG to a recruiter by email: it is not searchable and it cannot be parsed.

Which file to send

  • Portal or automated system: PDF, ATS plain design.
  • A person by email: PDF, any design.
  • WhatsApp or a social message: PNG, or PDF plus one PNG of the first page.
  • In person: printed single-sided on white paper. It is still the format that reads best across a table.
