Once a role is live, Recruiter Mode shows every profiled user ranked against your posting, best match first, with the part of their profile that matched named on the card.
What a candidate card tells you
- The match score, and which of your requirements it came from.
- How many of their projects carry a working proof link — the number that predicts whether the work is real.
- Their headline, location and availability, if they filled those in.
- A link to their full public page, where the projects and their links are.
Reading the list honestly
A score orders a list; it does not decide anything. Read the top ten, open the public pages of the ones that look interesting, and remember that a person who scored 62 with two shipped products may well be the better hire than one who scored 81 with a longer vocabulary.
Shortlisting
Press Shortlist on a card and the person is added to your private shortlist on the same screen. Candidates are never told they were shortlisted, or that they were not — that is yours to communicate, in your own words, through the message thread once they have applied.
Contacting people
You can message anybody who has applied to your role, with the application and their CV attached in the thread. Cold-messaging someone who has not applied is allowed by the tool and is a good way to be reported as spam, so write like a person, say which role you mean, and link to it.
Read the rules for posting a job before you publish.
